Dispense errors are a big issue with many banks even in the wake of the current cash crunch.crisis in Nigeria

A lot of people have had to opt for electronic transfers via bank USSD codes, bank apps and internet banking since physical cash is now a scarce item.

I was amazed recently when a roadside bread retailer, at the point of paying for a loaf of bread, asked me if I was going to do a bank transfer or if I preferred a POS transaction. I opted for POS and the transaction was seamless. Amazing right?

However, these various channels are fraught with many challenges that have left so many customers of Deposit Money Banks (DMBs) in utter frustration. Some of these customers do not even know how to go about resolving these complaints. Some give up in the process of queueing up to fill Dispense Error form in the bank premises. Some can't even afford to get to the bank for want of time. 

I have personally experienced all the above challenges with some of these DMBs and I am willing to share with you how I went about resolving them.

If you bank with GTBank and you recently experienced Dispense Error while trying to use a POS machine, an ATM, GTBank app, or their internet banking platform, do not fret as I will be showing you how you can log your complaint and get a reversal for your money within 48hours.

Please follow the steps below

1. Click the link below (or copy and paste in your browser)

2. Type your GTBank account number or your GTBank account linked to your ATM card in the provided space;

3. Type the last six digits of your GTBank Debit Card

4. Select the Dispense Error date;

5. Click View Transactions

6. Select the transaction you are looking for by clicking VIEW

7. Select your bank (GTBANK)

8. Click LOG DISPENSE ERROR

Your issue should be resolved within 48 hours or even less.

After the Group E opener match between Japan and Germany on November 23rd in the on-going 2022 World Cup games in Qatar, I noticed that many of the Japanese fans started picking up trash in the stadium.

To many, this looked weird and degrading but after watching the attached video, you would understand that Japanese culture of respect and relationship, otherwise referred to as NINGEN KANKEI, has a lot in common with sportsmanship and business success. The match ended 2-1 in favour of Japan and instead of the Japanese fans to gloat over their team's success, they expressed sportsmanship by picking up trash in the stadium.

Successful business people are very much aware that there is no substitute for establishing friendship and sportmanship in some cultures before effective business negotiations can take place. For example, a prospective Arab business associate will offer coffee as part of the important ritual of establishing a level of friendship and trust; and you should accept, even if you only take a ceremonial sip.

It is not just enough to win in sport, business or any life's endeavour, you must win FAIR and SQUARE. It is not just about winning quantitatively (the figures), you must also win qualitatively (fairly).

No creditor is ever willing to loan his hard-earned money to any person with a doubtful credit score. You have to be credit-worthy before good credit can be offered to you. Credit worthiness is a reputation you earn from having worked for your creditor. Whether you know it or not, you would have helped your creditor grow his finance and business by not defaulting in paying back his money. In other words, to become a creditor/an employer, you must first become a debtor/an employee. Somehow, someone or some people would have, at some point, used you to climb to the top. In the process, you would have garnered some experience you need for your business or venture. As I write now, I have self-published many books. However, I doubt if I would have become an author today if I did not start by writing for others.
